In the Wendschott district of Wolfsburg, a modern and functional outdoor facility has been created around the new Wendschott sports hall, combining exercise, social interaction, and sustainability. The project includes the design of access areas, bicycle and car parking spaces, and spacious green areas that blend harmoniously into the local landscape. The KE-100 reinforced edge channel with stainless steel frame and stainless steel longitudinal profile grating was used for efficient drainage of the entrance area. This robust and aesthetically pleasing drainage solution ensures safe drainage of surface water, permanently protects the adjacent surfaces from damage, and blends discreetly into the modern design concept of the outdoor facilities. The result is a lively, functional open space that ideally complements the new sports hall and enhances the Wendschott district in the long term.
