Friesoyte, Elisabeth-school

The new construction and renovation of the Elisabethschule in Friesoythe in the district of Cloppenburg (Lower Saxony) has created a modern support center that combines architectural quality, accessibility, and functional outdoor facilities. Construction work by the city of Oldenburg began in 2019 and was completed in spring 2025 after two construction phases. The special needs school not only offers new spaces for learning and socializing, but also a safe and well-designed environment for everyday school life. A central component of the outdoor facilities are the access routes, which are heavily used on a daily basis. Here, ANRIN KE-100 reinforced edge channels with cast iron longitudinal bar gratings in load class D400 ensure reliable drainage even under high traffic loads. In addition, OvalGrip cast iron gratings in class C250 are used, combining functionality with an attractive design in the adjacent areas. In this way, ANRIN is helping to ensure that the Elisabeth School meets the highest standards not only architecturally but also technically – durable, safe, and future-proof.
