Warstein, fire station

Since 2024, the new fire station at Fliegenpark has been an important location for the firefighters of the Warstein Fire Department. Construction of this building began in July 2019 with the demolition of the former Kolping House, followed by the renaturation of the surrounding area. The foundation stone was laid in August 2020, and the fire station was completed in fall 2023. An essential aspect of the construction project was to ensure efficient drainage of surface water. For this purpose, 35 meters of SF-150 heavy-duty channels with matching cast iron grates in the OvalGrip design of load class F 900 were installed. This measure helps to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the emergency vehicles.
