Regensburg, Chamber of Industry and Commerce
In 2008, the latest renovation of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the addition of the glass service center were completed by the Peithner architectural firm. This time, the Roman wall and the medieval city wall sitting on top of it at the northwest corner of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce building were treated with great care and are now a trademark of the building. After meetings of the committees, subcommittees, or the plenary assembly, the IHK's so-called Roman courtyard is a popular meeting place for networking. ANRIN SF-150 heavy-duty channels with OvalGrip cast iron gratings were installed in this Roman courtyard and the adjacent parking areas. The linear drainage system also serves as a design element separating history and modernity. This separation was consistently visualized here with the help of modern façade design.
