Nuremberg, passenger ship pier
The passenger port in Nuremberg is a lively meeting place for passers-by, travelers, hikers, and cyclists. Large and small ships regularly dock here, while shuttle buses and taxis transport hundreds of people. Efficient drainage of surface water is crucial to ensuring a safe environment for logistical tasks. This is where ANRIN's SF-200 drainage channel comes into play. With a nominal width of 200 mm and cast iron frames and grates in an innovative OvalGrip design, this system perfectly meets the requirements of high-traffic areas. This project is a testament to the city of Nuremberg's commitment to infrastructure development. It required an investment of approximately €3.2 million and spanned from 2011 to 2017. It is an outstanding example of how strategic infrastructure measures contribute to the smooth functioning of urban centers.
