The tartan track and grass playing field at Kirchheim Stadium have been renovated. This is intended to pave the way for better sports facilities, especially for track and field and soccer. ANRIN GmbH provided support with the drainage planning for the renovation of the facility, and Sportstättenbau Garten-Moser GmbH u. Co. KG Essingen created the best conditions for athletes to train or compete by installing ANRIN-SPORT drainage channels. Open channels with a single-sided upstand are used to drain running tracks with raised turf. Open channels without upstands are used in the segment area, as the running track and segments are usually at the same height here. The polymer concrete channel body and a white plastic cover form a practical combination of drainage and running track boundary in the ANRIN-SPORT drainage system. The ANRIN-SPORT components comply with the requirements of DIN 18035 for sports fields/drainage and the regulations of the IAAF, International Amateur Athletic Federation, for the construction of running tracks and playing fields. The edge surrounds of long jump pits and the boundaries of running tracks were also equipped with ANRIN-SPORT components.
